This seems pretty obvious to most but for small business there is a pretty important distinction to make. And that is that a Facebook business page is not a website.

With your business website you can create a professional brand experience for prospective customers. Your business colours, logo, content and personality can shine through and allow site visitors to gain trust in your business and become customers. To develop the online presence that is necessary for your small business to thrive in today’s web-driven market, a dedicated business website is a necessity.
Can I just have a Facebook business page instead of a business website?
Facebook is free, provides great exposure and helps with your marketing campaigns. However it does not provide the unique brand experience that a website can and does not give you flexibility in content creation. Furthermore, although Facebook is currently the most popular social network, you will inevitably be alienating some of your customers by using it as your sole online business interface.
